I know this is several months later - but you all are very stupid. Alex de Benedetti IS Giada's father! Federico was her uncle who died in a plane crash (I knew him as a friend) and since I was curious as to who her father was I was doing some Google research and found this site. If you check her grandfather (Dino's) bio on his website you will see that Giada's mother, Veronica married de Bendetti and they eventually divorced. What a lost opportunity to find out some interesting info from her father.
