Trying to locate lost friend named Jason Medley ( not sure if legal name). Went to Pinellas Park High School in Florida, 1984; not sure if he graduated from there or other school. Lived with a girl named Renee for awhile, then relocated to Tampa and roomed with a guy named Ken until '86, then lost touch. Was into punk/alternative scene. Used to hang out at clubs called Skyfeathers, Lonesome Coyote, Cuban Club, and a few others. Jason, if you remember Felicia, she's looking for you- would like to know how you're doing. Thanks. |

Posted At 16:20:40 03/13/2005 i use to go to skyfeathers too, i went to gibbs high. do you know christine gingrich, it is my older sister, she went to pinellas park too. i dont know, thought it may help... also i use to go to skyfeathers with holly ruark. im still in touch with them both. let me know. |

Posted At 16:57:13 03/18/2005 hi, i too went to Skyfeathers, in fact i worked there (was dj on new wave/alt. dancefloor). i just googled skyfeathers and found this posting. Felicia, the name Jason Medley sounds familiar, but i'm afraid i have no idea where he might be. Jessica, i've been in touch with your sister Christine fairly recently. those were good times (and crazy too). i'm thinking about doing up a page about Skyfeathers and putting it on my website... |

Posted At 21:41:48 03/19/2005 Ross-- A Skyfeathers page would be so cool! It would certainly bring back some memories. I have two Polaroids of the alternative room scanned if you need them. One is of a guy named John Huntley, if you recognize that name. ( sadly, he passed away in 1990) and the other is a group of girls I can barely remember names to! I was devastated when they closed Skyfeathers down, because it was such a great place to hang when you were too young to get into a bar. I'm also looking for the following to see how they are doing, if you know or remember any of them- Jessica Dwyer, Michelle Forbes, Ron Hancoc, Bobby Winter (Hope that's his last name), and probably 3 dozen more peeps whose names are buried deep in my subconcious. |

Posted At 16:07:14 03/20/2005 Jason sounds familiar. I went to all those clubs. Saw Black Flag at Lonsome Coyote. Do you have any more information about him? Jess, I went to Largo High and then St. Pete high. John Huntly! I LOVED how he danced! People to include in ANY Skyfeathers site: Joe Nappy, Dean... Dean... oh my! Dean who? Of course Buddy Sears! Beverly, Josette, and who was the very cute brunette who did the rock lobster lip-sync with.. Randy someone (I am rotten at last names!), Dean and Beverly? Don't forget Kara Kirst (now Cash). What do I remember? I thought it was SO COOL how the DJ would throw in some old Beatles song every once in a while. I remember sex-dwarf and b-52 lip-syncs, all-night exhaustion with tangerine dream soundtrack. |

Posted At 21:42:23 03/20/2005 omg, yeah, Dean and Joe Nappy! and Beverly and Kara!- wow, there's some people I remember. I used to do the Rock Lobster and Every Day is Halloween lip syncs, but a lot of people did the B52s. Christine-- were you the Christine who liked to be known as The Strawberry Girl? Or is that another Christine? Trying to jog my memory- I can't believe it's been 20 years! Anyway, about the info on Jason- all the info I have is pretty much what is listed. I know he was the frontman of a band for a short time. Somehow they were able to get into Skyfeathers on a Sunday afternoon-evening to practice- I remember that because I got locked in at work one night while I was in the bathroom changing clothes so I could go see them! |

The photo of the group of six girls, the second one from the left (beige shirt) looks like Jennifer Smith, who went to Largo High. We were always at skyfeathers!! AKA-The good 'ol days!! I also know the names of all the girls in the next picture!! I already e-mailed Ross. I also have a few pictures from then!!! Posted At 16:39:42 10/23/2005 Some of the best & worst times I had at SkyFeathers. I just recently saw two of my friends from High School , Maria M and Jennifer(ButterBean)!!! They told about this site. I do remember Jason Meldy , he used to hang out with other guy named Pat Ward. I dont know what happened to him. Gosh I could name a whole list of peeps. Its such a great feeling talking about old times! Im the Blonde in the black & white picture with Jennifer at Tyrone Mall....:) |
